Seamless texture checker
Check whether a texture tiles seamlessly. Preview it in a 3x3 grid, toggle a half-offset seam test, and adjust the tile scale. Runs locally in your browser.

About the Seamless texture checker
A tileable texture is one that repeats across a surface with no visible joins. This checker repeats your texture in a grid so seams and hard edges become obvious, and a half-offset test pushes the tile boundaries into the middle of the view where they are easiest to spot.
How to use the Seamless texture checker
- Drop the texture you want to test.
- View it repeated in a 3x3 grid to look for visible seams.
- Toggle the half-offset test to move the tile edges into the centre.
- Adjust the tile scale to check the texture at different sizes.
Frequently asked questions
Tile it in a grid and look for lines, repeated features or brightness jumps at the edges where copies meet. If those joins are invisible, and the half-offset test also looks clean, the texture is seamless.
It shifts the tiling by half a tile so the edges that normally sit at the border land in the middle of the preview, making any seam far easier to see.
No. The tiling preview runs in your browser and your texture is not sent to a server.
