About the PBR texture previewer

A physically based rendering (PBR) material is built from several texture maps working together. This previewer combines your albedo, normal, roughness and metallic maps into one material on a rotating sphere so you can see how the set actually reacts to light before dropping it into an engine.

How to use the PBR texture previewer

  1. Drop your albedo, normal, roughness and metallic maps into their slots.
  2. Watch them combine as a single material on the 3D sphere.
  3. Adjust the lighting to test the material under different conditions.
  4. Iterate on your maps and re-drop them until the material looks right.
