No. During the open beta, AssetHoard is free to download and use on Windows, macOS, and Linux with no license key required. A license will only be required once AssetHoard reaches its full public release.
AssetHoard is a one-time purchase, currently $29 during the beta. There is no subscription and no recurring fee. The introductory beta price rises to $49 at full release, and if you buy during the beta you keep the lower price and still receive every future update.
No. AssetHoard is a one-time purchase. You pay once and own it forever, with no recurring charges, annual renewals, or paid tiers. All future updates are included for the lifetime of the product.
Your license key and a download link are emailed to you instantly after purchase. Download the installer for your platform, open AssetHoard, and enter your license key to activate.
Each license key can be used on up to 2 devices, with unlimited deactivations. You can move your license between machines whenever you need to, so reinstalling or switching computers is never a problem.
Yes. A single license works on all supported platforms. If you buy on Windows and later move to Linux or macOS, the same key activates AssetHoard there at no extra cost.
Visit the license recovery page and enter the email address you used to purchase. Your license key is resent to that address straight away.
Because you can download and run AssetHoard for free during the open beta before buying, refunds are assessed against clear criteria, such as duplicate charges or a technical failure on a supported platform that support cannot resolve. See the purchase page for the full policy.
AssetHoard runs on Windows 10+, macOS 11+, and Linux. The Linux build is tested against Ubuntu 20.04+ but runs on most modern distributions, with .deb, .rpm, and .pkg.tar.zst packages plus an AppImage available. It needs 4 GB of RAM and about 100 MB of disk space, plus room for your own library.
Yes. On Linux you can add the AssetHoard APT, DNF, or AUR repository and install from the command line, which keeps the app updated through your normal system updates. Direct .deb, .rpm, and .pkg.tar.zst downloads are also available.
No. AssetHoard is local-first, so there is no account to create and nothing is uploaded to the cloud. Your library and all its data stay on your own machine.
